Things to consider - Before, During and After Treatment
Before:
The Celluma LED light panel needs to be close to the area being treated. Therefore, we recommend wearing something loose-fitting that can be easily tucked out of the way or removed for the treatment.
If you have a Celluma LED facial treatment, your skin will be cleansed, and make-up removed. Make-up formulas or skin care products contain minerals that can deflect light away from your skin – and if light is deflected, the Celluma treatment will be less effective.
Celluma is NOT recommended for children under 12. It should not be placed over the breast of a woman who is breast-feeding or the abdomen during pregnancy. Please speak to one of our therapists if you have any questions.
During:
Celluma is completely safe.
At the start of the treatment session, our beauty therapist will give you eye protection goggles to wear.
Together, we will choose the most comfortable position for you and your treatment. It’s important the Celluma LED panel is moulded closely around the area of your body being treated and that you can relax for the treatment period. We will select the correct light combination for your specific needs.
Then all you have to do is absolutely nothing for 30 minutes.
Just enjoy some relaxation time.
After:
Celluma does not require a period of recovery. After treatment, you can resume your normal activities, including applying skincare products and makeup. There is no need to wait.
A course of treatment offers corrective and long-lasting results. However, you’ll be able to see a difference after the first session. Light therapy is also particularly relaxing, so you’ll leave feeling refreshed.
