A Touch of Colour
In need of a little splash of colour of definition. Our quick 25-minute makeup session focuses on eyes, lips and cheeks. You'll leave feeling rejuvenated with a boost of confidence to tackle the rest of your day.
When you need a flawless business look before an important meeting or to feel confident and pretty for a lunch date our Express makeup session is just for you.
The purpose of daytime makeup is often to highlight your natural features, conceal flaws and blemishes in your skin, and create a fresh, awake appearance. Daytime makeup looks are generally more subtle than evening looks, because less is more in natural daylight.
Makeup Application sessions are for any occasion from an evening out in London, a photoshoot or filming a video, special event or celebration to bridal/wedding.
The main difference between day makeup and evening makeup is the difference in lighting. With evening lighting tending to be dimmer overall, your makeup will need to be a little more saturated to stand out. This doesn't mean piling it on but creating more definition with colour and contrast.
Similarly, if you want to look fabulous for a photoshoot or video, it's all about the lighting. Video makeup doesn't mean heavier, but it does mean more polished with the correct use of colour to prevent you from looking washed out.
Congratulations on your engagement and upcoming wedding day!
We always feel privileged to be involved in your special day. In our initial makeup trial, we will take the time to talk through your colour schemes and focus on all your needs and expectations. We will find the perfect look for your wedding day that enhances your natural beauty, whether you'd like a look that is barely-there or something more dramatic, it'll always be flawless, and long lasting.
Our makeup lessons are suitable for anyone who wants to learn how to apply better makeup on themselves; or brides-to-be who will not have access to a makeup artist on their special day.
Whether you would like to learn a natural, everyday look, a style suitable for the corporate world or a glamorous and sizzling evening look we would be more than happy to guide you through the makeup maze.
We will show you how to make the most of your facial features and how to enhance them with the help of correct application skills, colour matching and of course the right products.
If you are planning on getting married and would like to do your own makeup, we can teach you how so that you will look simply stunning on the day.
We use products and application techniques that ensure flawless long-lasting makeup from the morning through to the night with just an occasional lipstick touch-up required.
Things to Consider – Before, During and After Treatment
gently exfoliate your skin the night before
on the day, cleanse your face, including your eye area
arrive with freshly cleansed skin (follow your usual skincare routine, so your skin doesn't dry out between washing your face and arriving for your appointment)
if possible, don’t wear any makeup to your appointment (this includes BB cream, mascara and any other cosmetic products)
if you are having makeup applied before changing your clothes for an event, make sure you wear something that can be removed without smudging your makeup
If your makeup is for a trial, try to wear something that's a similar colour to your wedding/formal/event outfit.
Let us know what sort of makeup you’d like, and any looks that you don't love. This helps us understand what your makeup comfort levels are.
We also need to know:
if you are allergic or sensitive to anything
your skin type (oily, combination, normal, dry)
if you have any skin conditions
Your makeup is designed to last, and it will warm into your skin as the day/night goes on.
Before bed, cleanse your face and eye area to remove all makeup.
You are in safe hands
Therapists at our beauty salon in Central London are experienced professionals. Our priority is that you feel relaxed and comfortable during your treatment session. We are happy to talk you through the procedure and answer questions that arise at any time.
If you have questions about any of our treatments, please call us at the salon, and we will be only too happy to help. If you are new to some treatments (e.g. facials, waxing and IPL) or have sensitive skin, why not book a consultation and patch test. This will help us advise you on the best treatment options for your skin and hair type.
Changes because of Covid-19
Some of our procedures may have changed to make your treatments as safe as possible. But you'll find our warm, friendly atmosphere remains, and you'll still come away feeling relaxed and beautiful.
