| What exactly is Minx?
Minx is a solid film with an adhesive back that is heat activated. The heat gives Minx the conformability to fit over the compound curves of nails and seals it onto the nail bed. Minx is made in North County, San Diego, California. The patent pending proprietary material Minx is made of can be easily removed with heat by either the manicurist or the client.

| Are Minx nails waterproof? Yes, when applied correctly Minx has a waterproof seal that will not release until the seal is broken by lifting the edge with a finger nail or object such as an orange stick. |
| The shrink wrap-like appliques achieve effects that regular liquid polish can't, like intricate patterns and mirrored silver or gold finishes. And ever since Beyonce wore them in her "Single Ladies" video, we haven't been able to get enough of them. You match up Minx to each nail's size, and using Infra Red light you melt them onto your nail's surface. Then you smooth and shorten the Minx with a glass nail file until you have a perfect fit. There's no drying time, and no risk of smudging/chipping. |
| Another plus: Minx are eco-friendly and good for your nails, since they simply sit on top and protect them. To remove, you just soak in warm water and gently peel them off once they're soft (though Lisa says you can use remover if you're in a rush). January 11, 2008 – Oceanside, CA – Minx, Inc.™ has announced the launch of Minx nail fashion, a new and glamorous way for women to extend fashion to their very fingertips. |

| “We have not seen such a unique and exciting product for ages,” gushes Keri Parker, Owner of Lulu’s by Travis Parker, an exclusive nail boutique in San Diego. “Competition is fierce among top salons, so we are thrilled to be the first to offer Minx in our area. Any woman who wants to be at the height of fashion or wants something special for an event will have to make an appointment with us.” |
|
| Natasha Ray, Owner of Ms. Dainty Mobile Spa and Nail Lounge in Washington D.C., explains that the simple application process is a tremendous benefit for busy Capitol Hill clientele. “Because Minx is not a liquid and no hazardous chemicals are used in its application, manicurists can easily apply it to clients at the same time that hair and makeup are being done,” Ray explains. Minx does not require any drying time, nor are there any fumes, spills, smudging or chipping. “Clients can be glammed in half the time, and salons can schedule more appointments in a day,” Ray concludes. |
|
| “Minx is for those who love to stand out from the crowd,” declares Master Minx Janice Jordan. “For celebrities who wore Minx nails on the red carpet for the American Music Awards and the Music Rocks event, Minx opens up a whole new area of fashion. Once you’ve tried it, you can’t go back,” Jordan states. |
