We have three gorgeous Central London salons which are fully Air Conditioned & have all the luxuries you would expect - Tempur mattresses, iPod’s in each room (please feel free to bring your own iPod!), Hydraulic Couches, Heated Under blankets & only the best product ranges.
Our highly trained team of therapists pride themselves on their reassuring and professional approach to beauty therapy.

| Welcome to our web site. I would like to tell you the history of Beauty Essence. Im Mary Gillmore the salon owner. I was born in 1965 & live in North London with my husband Mark & our twins (born 2002). I spend my time working at all the salons & in my office. If you would like to meet me I am normally in the City salon on Friday's & the Mayfair salon on Monday's.
I qualified at the London College of Fashion in the summer of 1986 with a BTEC HND in Beauty Therapy & Business Management.
In the autumn I started my career at Cannons Sports Club, EC4 as the Beauty Therapist. Several years later I took over the business, which grew until I was employing 12 Therapists. In 1997 Beauty Essence (Bow Lane, EC4) came up for sale. As this was our direct competitor, I decided it would be a good acquisition. Meanwhile, Vardon had taken over Cannons & they bought us out in 1998. |
| Beauty Essence went from strength to strength. In 2004 we decided we needed more space & a property became available in 7 Well Court, just off Bow Lane, EC4M 9DN - 020 7248 01027. We moved in Jan 2006 to a gorgeous new huge salon. It gave us the much needed space, which meant we could expand our treatment range. |
| In 2004 I was offered the beauty concession in Soho at Smiths hair salon 57 Poland Street, W1F 7NW - 020 7734 9734. We opened in July 2004 with 2 rooms, a beautiful reception & nail bar. The salon is stunning. We love working with the hair staff, many of whom I knew from Cannons Sports Club as we worked together there. |

| The philosophy for my businesses is that we create a warm, welcoming, approachable atmosphere where our clients feel nurtured & respected. We are passionate about our work & have a really lovely team of therapists. We stock Dermalogica, Environ, Guinot, Essie, Bare Minerals, Jessica, Xen Tan & more
We perform over 30,000 individual appointments a year! We have lovely clients who make the business a pleasure to work in. We employ over 23 therapists & all love our work. |

| You can BOOK ONLINE in real time! This is a great way to preserve your privacy in the office & make bookings 24 hours a day. We launched online booking in the Summer of 2010 & it's going brilliantly. |
| 2011 turned out to be our busiest yet. We saw 6,437 clients & did 33,346 treatments. About 20% of our clients use our ONLINE BOOKING facility. |
| In 2012 we added 2 more treatment rooms to the City salon, so we now have 8 treatment rooms, 3 manicure desks, 1 pedicure chair & a spray tan booth. |
